Select which retail layouts should appear on what till.

A new retail layout, by default, won’t be active on any tills. This is a way of keeping till screens tidy – so for example, Box Office tills aren’t bogged down by food retail options they don’t need.

All computers enabled for retail will be listed.  If a desired computer is not listed, then it is not enabled for Retail, and you should contact Savoy Systems to enable it for retail.

By selecting a till, you can select which Retail Layouts will appear on that till.
You can set whether or not the specific till locks after a sale or after a period of activity, meaning that a use will need to swipe their card or input their password to use it again.

NOTE: If it is important that each transaction is attributed to the right staff member, or the till is in an area where potentially a member of the public could access it, it is important to be locked when not in use.

NOTE: Try to keep Retail layouts logical and to the minimum required to keep things simple for staff. Everything should be straight forward for them to find. It’s a good idea from time-to-time to have a review of retail items that are no longer sold and remove them from layouts to keep them uncluttered.
