Create, edit and remove user access for Point of Sale and Back Office. You can also assign staff swipe cards and reset user passwords here.
User access can be controlled via Back Office via System -> Users. Here you can create a new user, or edit an existing user.
When creating a new user, you are required to provide a password for the user. You can optionally choose to allow the user to create their own password the first time the log in by checking the "User must change password at next login" checkbox.
To stop a user accessing the system, simply check the "User cannot log on" checkbox. NOTE: Once a user has access the system, they cannot be deleted, so to restrict access use this checkbox.
Users can be assigned swipe cards for logging on to Point of Sale. If these are configured, then the card number can be entered here. If a staff member loses a card, then a new one can be assigned by overwriting the old one.
