The below steps detail the process by which you can update POS settings so that the default payment button which is located under the transaction view changes from 'Cash Payment...' to 'Credit Card Payment...'.
1. From the top menu options, click on 'System' and then select 'Advanced Settings...'
2. Tick the option highlighted below:
If you wish to disable cash payments entirely at POS, you can also tick the checkbox immediately to the right of the one highlighted above.
If you would like POS to proceed to taking payment immediately after pressing the Credit Card Payment button (and so remove the step where it prompts you to enter the payment amount), then you can untick the 'Credit Card Payment Button Prompts for Credit Card Amount (vs taking Payment immediately)' checkbox.
3. Log back into POS and you should find the default payment button has now been updated:
