How To Check Connection History on Clover Flex
If you are finding that Oscar Point of Sale is reporting it's unable to connect to the Clover Flex pinpad, it's worth checking the Connection History on the device to see if it has become disconnected from the Wifi at any point. Connection History is also useful if you want to get a picture of how stable the wifi connection is for the device. To locate the Connection History, do as follows:
1. Touch all four corners of the Flex screen to close the currently running payment app
2. From the home screen of the Flex (where all the app icons are present), swipe left to open the side menu
3. Select 'Help'
4. Tap the burger menu icon in the top left and select Diagnostics
5. Tap on 'Connection Status' and the Connection History window should appear
Once this is open, you can check the Connection History of the device and check for any instances where the Flex has reported it was disconnected:
Frequent instances of the Flex recording that it was Disconnected may indicate issues with either the internal WiFi set up or with the broadband connection.
